A stem of alstroemeria in a shot glass. These were richly-coloured and fun to paint. I took a picture at the blocking in stage just to show process. I enjoy seeing the path of other people's work so thought I might start showing some stages in mine. Happy Tuesday.

Wow, these blooms have always been a challenge so daunting, I have never tried to paint them! You did a wonderful job!
This is a lovely painting, Kim. Beautiful colors, especially the reds in the flowers. I also like seeing your process.
Lovely piece, Kim...great to see your process too!
My favourite bit is the distortion of the stem in the water - nice piece.
So much strength in your color palette choice Kim. Liked seeing your 2 stages. Really can feel the water in the glass. ..nice!
Oooooh...so lovely! The different reds look vibrant and full of life. Great reflection in the water and the offset turquoise really pulls it all together. Thanks so much for showing your process!
Lovely Kim. Love those vibrant oranges against the neutral background. It sings!
Such a nice painting...thanks for showing the process I just love to see how the artist arrives at the painting. The reds are exceptional.
This is so beautiful Kim! You've given those flowers so much presence, and the glass is just awesome. I love how you paint glass and reflections.
And I really love seeing the work in progress. Coolness :)
I like the underpainting almost as much as the finished piece! Is this a bush or a plant? Beauty!
Thanks for sharing your beginning with us. I love seeing how it evolved into the final piece. I love the cool blue against the top of the flowers, too!
I really like that you showed some of the process. Thanks for taking the time. Its a lovely piece.
